RPM Education Featured Live On ABC Channel 2 News!

PORTLAND, Ore. — Christian Bryant of RPM Education “A Landlord Company” was featured on ABC Local KATU Channel 2 News.

Christian reported widespread glitches in the State’s “Landlord Compensation Fund.” Many desperate landlords have been unable to get assistance. RPM Education has been helping many landlords navigate the new laws and get assistance. However, the system is riddled with bugs and the potential for fraud. Many applications aren’t going through. KATU’s Keaton Thomas with Christian Bryant reports live from Portland, OR.

“… State lawmakers created the fund at the end of last year, dedicating $200 million to rent relief. Of that, $150 million was earmarked for the Landlord Compensation Fund. Property owners can apply for funds to pay off 80% of the back rent owed by tenants. The state housing authority, Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS), is running the fund.
