This two hour class will teach you everything you need to know about the Fair Housing and Discrimination laws that apply to the Landlord / Tenant relationship. You see the article headline far too often, “Landlord Sued for $150,000 for Fair Housing Violations!” Unfortunately, most landlords don’t intend to be discriminatory, but ignorance is not a defense. We will teach you about our Fair Housing Laws, the most common mistakes, and how to best protect yourself from Fair Housing violation claims.

This class is available to attend for free due to an education grant from the city of Portland, OR.

CE credits available for licensed Oregon Realtors/Brokers and Property Managers at an additional cost. Don’t forget to select the CE Credits add-on option when registering.

Where? Virtual Webinar – The links to join the webinar and to download the class materials will be sent out in the reminder emails during the last 6 days before class including one an hour before class start. Keep in mind that the class materials may change or be updated up to the day before the class if there are any changes to the relevant laws.

Check-in / Chat Room Networking starts 30 minutes before class start time so be sure to get connected early so you don’t miss part of the class dealing with connection issues. We will try to start as close to exactly on time as possible.

There will be scheduled Q&A breaks during the class, but if we can’t get to your questions during class we always stick around to answer questions for up to 15 minutes after the class ends.
